How to choose the right Kamado accessories

Compatibility and diameter

This is the number-one criterion. Kamado accessories are classified by size (S, M, L, XL, XXL).
If you’re buying for a charcoal barbecue from another brand, measure the internal diameter of your bowl precisely. An accessory for a Kamado XL (around a 48 cm grate) generally fits very well on charcoal barbecues with a 47 cm or 57 cm diameter.

Choosing materials: cast iron or stainless steel
