From Japanese tradition to American barbecue culture

The kamado originates from Japan, where it was conceived as a ceramic oven capable of retaining heat for perfect cooking. Forest Grill drew inspiration from this to create barbecues at the crossroads of cultures: the ancestral Japanese expertise and the soul of the American barbecue.

It was in 2019 that Forest Grill launched its first kamado. The aim was simple: to make an exceptional barbecue accessible, one that is high-performing, durable, and beautiful.
